Team Alberta Canada,
which includes four tier 6 swimmers
from Aurora
Synchro
and four from Calgary
Elite Synchro, is doing very well at the Prague Christmas
Prize. This meet is hosting teams in the 13-15 age category
from 12 countries.
In solos Rachel Yaremko
finished sixth and Kavanah Robinson finished ninth out of 20 solos.
Kavanah Robinson and Rachel Yaremko had an eighth place finish
in their duet. And the 8 man team finished very well at third
place, which means they hit the podium! It was Egypt, Russia, then
Canada. We finished second in artistic marks and tied for third in
technical. Duets take place tomorrow.
Congratulations to our
girls! They're great representatives for synchronized swimming in
Canada.
