  1. Synchro Canada’s Senior National Team in Toronto May 19th
    Canadian senior national synchronized swimming team members who are training for the 2011 FINA World Aquatic Championships and the Pan American Games will be in Toronto on May 19 as part of a promotion day. The National Team will be the highlight of the opening ceremonies at the Ontario Open Age Group Synchronized Swimming Championships, taking place at the Olympium Pool on May 19, 2011. National Team members will showcase their routines where several of Synchro Canada’s Olympic alumni will be the MC’s. More details.

  3. Bids: 2012 National Competitions (new dates for the Espoir)
    You can now apply to host the 2012 Synchro Canada national championships, including the Eastern/Atlantic Divisionals, Canadian Open, Espoir and Masters championships. Please note that the new dates for the 2012 Canadian Espoir Championships are May 23-28. The deadline to apply is May 6th, 2011. More details.

  10. Tickets for the 2011 FINA World Aquatic Championships
    Ticket prices and seating plans are now available for the 2011 FINA World Aquatic Championships. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, please send an email to patrick@synchro.ca with the number of tickets for each session and in each category. The deadline is Wednesday, May 25th, at 5 pm (EST).   11. Call for Billet Families in Toronto and Montreal
    Synchro Canada is calling on families who would like to host a National Junior (6 weeks) or 13-15 (4 weeks) athlete this summer during their National Team training camp. Billet families receive a daily honourarium for each athlete they billet.  Responsibilities of billet families may include: Airport pickups and dropoffs, daily transportation to training (car pools can be arranged), preparing meals and snacks, etc.  What a great experience for your family to get to spend the summer getting to know our National Team athletes! Any families who live close (within a 30 min drive) to the Etobicoke Olympium or Montreal Olympic Stadium and would like to help host a National Team athlete are encouraged to contact Kristen Brawley, High Performance Manager ( kristen@synchro.ca).

    London Synchro Club
    The London Synchro Club is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year at their Spring Watershow on Saturday, May 28 at 5:00pm.  They are looking for former club members/swimmers to drop us a line and attend as a VIP!  If you have a story to share or have some photos or videos of interest, they would love to put them in our display for the evening.  There will be cake and a presentation in honour or the original club founder along with a spectacular year end Watershow featuring over 75 swimmers performing solo, duet and team routines from our competitive and recreational programs.  Should be a night to remember.  Contact londonsynchro@gmail.com for more information.
