  1. Follow your 2010 National Junior Team at the 2010 FINA World Junior Championships
    Follow your 2010 National Junior Team in Indianapolis for the 2010 FINA World Junior Championships by checking the special section on our Website. You’ll find: pictures, videos, draws, results, press releases, and daily blogs from Catherine Dee and Braley Traub live from Indianapolis. Please note that finals, presented Saturday and Sunday, will be broadcast on the Internet. Synchro Canada will add the link in its special section as soon as it will be available.   2. Call for Nominations of Board Members: deadline is this Sunday
    The deadline to submit nominations for Synchro Canada’s Board Members is Sunday, August 15. Check out the AGM section on our Website to find the call for nominations, the nomination form and the list of questions from Synchro Canada.   3. Canadian athletes won nine medals at the 2010 FINA World Masters Championships
    The 90 Canadian swimmers who took part to the 2010 FINA World Masters Championships came back from Sweden with nine medals: two gold, five silver and two bronze, and six fourth positions. Synchro Canada would like to congratulates the following medallists:

  4. Synchro Canada’s National Team members at the Fête des enfants in Montreal
    Synchro Canada’s National Team members will take part at the Fête des enfants at the Parc Jean-Drapeau, in Montreal, Sunday, August 15, between 10 am and 6 pm. In collaboration with Synchro Québec, National Team members will jump in the water with kids for synchronized swimming initiation activities. Synchro Québec’s 13-15 provincial team will also present their routine. Synchro Canada is inviting all members to take part to those activities!

  5. Take advantage of the New Sports Day in Canada
    On September 18th, CBC Sports will present a 2-4 hour broadcast for the Sports Day in Canada, a new national event that celebrates sport at all levels across Canada. Using the model that CBC created for Hockey Day in Canada, Sports Day in Canada is an opportunity to showcase all manner of sports, while mobilizing the nation in the power of being active. Take advantage of this initiative: promote your club by organizing a local activity on September 18th (free initiation, watershow, etc…).     Trunk Sale for the Cure by the Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club
    The Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club (BSSC) is holding a giant community garage sale Saturday, August 21, from 8 am to 1 pm in the Ascension Catholic School parking lot in Burlington, ON - 5205 New Street (beside Centennial Swimming Pool). Proceeds will be add to BSSC's Burning Bright for Breast Cancer fall fundraiser.  If anyone wants to join in the garage sale the cost of $25 to participate is added to our Burning Bright fund that we will be donating for breast cancer research and the participant will be given two parking spots to do whatever they like with.  If people are interested in participating they can contact Nancy at
