New Aurora Synchro coach

Aurora Synchro has a new coach for the 13 to 15 year old national stream team. Jaime Thompson, a level 3 coach, has been coaching synchro for seven years, most recently with the Red Deer synchro club. She has coached three provincial teams, was the Team Alberta 2010 head coach of junior team, a Team Alberta 2009 assistant coach for the junior and senior teams, and the Team Nova Scotia Canada Games 2007 head coach.

"I am very excited to be a part of the Auroras coaching staff. I'm looking forward to the year ahead and am really excited to get started. After moving to Red Deer from Nova Scotia, I always knew that I would want to coach at a club like Aurora Synchro and am very pleased that I have been given the opportunity to be a part of the club. As mentioned, I am originally from Halifax, NS. I graduated from Dalhousie University in 2008 and am considering continuing my education at the U of A."

We're very pleased to have Jaime with us and look forward to working with her this year.
