Wildrose 2003-2006 Program Choices

Girls born from 2003 to 2006 can participate in Aurora Synchro's Wildrose FUNdamentals or Wildrose 10U programs.  Programs start the week of September 17, 2012.

Please see below for registration information.

Wildrose FUNdamentals

Starts the week of September 17, 2012
Or start in January 2013
Until late April or early May 2013 (after the spring water show; see Events for exact date)

Wildrose FUNdamentals is Aurora Synchro's introductory program for brand new synchronized swimmers who are 7 to 10 years old.  Swimmers should have completed Red Cross Swim Kids 3 (or equivalent). Wildrose FUNdamentals swimmers and parents participate in a range of synchro fun with minimal commitments and no travel. This program is for you if:

  • You have no synchronized swimming experience, and
  • You were born from 2003 to 2006.

If you've already got some synchro experience or are a strong swimmer without synchro experience, we recommend the twice a week Wildrose 10U program. If you were born after 2005 or are uncomfortable in deeper water, we suggest our AquaSquirts program.

Advantages of Aurora Synchro's Wildrose FUNdamentals program:

  • The parental volunteer commitment is minimal: two hours of volunteering.
  • No fundraising is required, but fees can be reduced by volunteering at bingos.
  • Swimmers can invite friends to a lesson.
  • You can attend the first class with no obligation. Contact us at info@aurorasynchro.org to do so.

Questions?

Please contact us if you have any questions about the program. We're quite flexible.

Age is determined as at the end of the year when the competitions are held. For 2012-13 the competitions occur in 2013, so age is calculated as of December 31, 2013.

If you're not sure which program is right for your child, we suggest you try out the program with a greater time commitment for a few weeks. If it's not working out, your child can switch to a program that requires less time and any fees paid will be applied toward that program.

For more information on the Aurora Synchro Wildrose program please contact us.

Lots of our members carpool to the pool. We have members from all over the city and surrounding areas. Let us know if you're interested in car pooling, and we'll put you in touch.

Fees, commitments, schedules, and programs are subject to change.
